10 years of academic career in English major has finalised my occupational career to a different path. Originally, I was admitted to Sichuan University, majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. Then, I changed my major to English literature in my sophomore year. The last 3 years of my university life has witnessed my efforts in altering my occupational path, from a doctor, to an English teacher. Yes, I have devoted myself to polishing my English lecturing skills through my experience as an English tutor during weekends. It is also this experience that finalised my first career path, ending as a teacher in New Oriental School in Chengdu, in charge of several classes of senior high school students.

Then, shit things happen. The ban on tutoring industry and the proceding pandemic has shattered my path of ascension as a senior English teacher. I then decided to continue to pursue my academic career. After preparing for 1-2 months, I was admitted to Beijing Foreign Studies University, majoring in British Studies. The predestined career path of this major should be a researcher in public think tanks.
